Whether you are into classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal, rap, pop, country, hip hop, or any other type of music, you can probably find it at the iHeartRadio Festival. In fact, it got so large that it had to be moved from the MGM Garden Arena to the T-Mobile Arena in on Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas. The event started small, with about ten artists, but has grown so big that it is now televised on two different major TV channels. This concert, as a well-known social music event across the world, has been going on every September since 2011 and is sponsored by iHeartRadio, which is a free streaming radio platform that was founded in 2008. Both nights you can spend over four hours singing and dancing to your favorites with thousands of other fans. They have it all and then some.įor two days, you can enjoy all the artists, or you can pick a certain artist or genre and show up for those.

All different ages and genres are invited from country to rock to blues. This is not just my opinion (I feel terrible not giving it 5 stars) but this is what others I spoke to afterwards also said.Vegas may be known for its casinos, but gambling on the iHeartRadio Festival is a sure bet! This annual music fest is a two-day blast of mega-music stars with more than two dozen of today’s biggest artists. If you’re looking for a country concert, I’d look elsewhere. All in all, beautiful people, beautiful music, & if you’re looking for a SHOW, absolutely go. so definitely wouldn’t recommend / attend again unless the city/venue changed. We were disappointed we couldn’t stand, scream sing, and have a good time. We were just so shocked the whole time at the lack of fun being had. At one point one of the artists asked the crowd to sing the lyrics and it fell so quiet, our jaws dropped. But that’s exactly it, I think everyone in Texas (I even spoke to local people afterwards who agreed) attend this event as a “show” more than a “concert.” So they quite literally sit, and watch.

Being in the 4th row of our section, we couldn’t stand because we could tell no one wanted to and we didn’t want to be the reason everyone didn’t enjoy their show. Yet, the audience sat, basically in silence, for what felt like the entirety of the show. some of the GREATEST names are the reason we traveled and they played songs that made me want to party as well as cry. We were so excited to travel to Austin, TX for a country music festival until the music started.
